Although this site should work fine for most users, the resources listed
within it may require your computer to have the latest version of some software
installed. Before each resource there is an icon which indicates the software
required to view it. If you have problems opening any of the resources please
use the links below to download the software you require*.
PDF files
To view
PDF resources please download the Adobe Acrobat PDF Viewer, by clicking the
icon below.
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
To view Word, Excel and PowerPoint
resources, you require Microsoft Office, or a compatible office suite, installed
on your computer. If you do not have Microsoft Office you can install the
Office viewers.
To make the most of the data on this disc, you may also need to
have the following software installed on your computer:
Browser Security
Some resources require active content to run on your computer,
which may cause your browser to display a message prompting you to indicate
whether you want to allow this. Please click Yes in the message box to be
able to view the page. If you want to stop this message from coming up again,
please change your browser security settings as follows.
In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll down to the Security section of the list. Select the Allow active content from CDs to run on My Computer check box, and then click OK.

How to use this material
All of the project outputs have been content packaged using Reload although it is important to note that the content packages do not contain the metadata required for use with a content repository. Colleges using such a repository may wish to open the packages with Reload, or another packaging tool, to add the required metadata.
The content packages can be edited with Reload which also allows users to intersect their own examples and resources within those provided.
Guidance on this process is included within the content packaging tutorials.
Each section of this material contains summary information and screenshots of the individual resources which link to either an index page or to specific files, such as a PowerPoint presentation. These index pages then contain links to the other resources and in many cases 'how-to-guide' associated with that resource. Each summary also contains icon links to either preview or download the respective content packages created with Reload. (See tutorials)
Use the introduction pages to view the summary and list of all the resources in each section or use the direct links in the menu on the left to view the summary and links for specific resources.
The home icon top left of the navigation panel returns to the homepage and the up and down arrows expand and collapse the whole menu.
If you have PowerPoint, Word and/or Excel installed on your computer, rather than just the browser player for those files, you may wish to change your file type options to force links to these files to open in the respective application. The details of how to do this and the advantages of doing so is explained in the tutorial covering this process.
