A new innovation in Windows XP is the Filmstrip view, as Figure 1-1. This is generally the way graphics files are presented to you in My Computer. You can of course switch to any of the other views provided.

The top icon in this view allows you to flick through the graphics and even rotate them if you wish.
You can view the graphics file more closely by double clicking on the one you want.
This will open another new aspect in Windows XP the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, as Figure 1-2. This window will also allow you to flick through the images in the same folder, as well as a number of other tasks.
